The 2025 season was so fantastic. The closing show Fiddler on the Rood was choreographed so perfectly with Cincinnati Ballet and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Shakespeare Theater, it was amazing. The performers were brought in from other cities and country. They were outstanding, especially (Tevye) performed by Max Hopp, Germany, in his 1st US debut. He is also and actor and director. The Cincinnati Opera is always thoughtful in producing far ahead of the game.

The summer opera season is short, so don't wait to buy tickets and plan your evening out - you wont be disappointed.

I have seen opera all over the country, and Cincinnati Opera is the best you will find in the Midwest!

After I saw Lucia di Lammermoor, the premier for this 2023 season, I decided to come back for more. My mom and I saw the world stage premiere of The Knock, a touching production that speaks to current issues in the world. That same week, I invited a group of friends to watch The Barber of Seville and they thought it was amazing! I can't wait to see the new production of Madame Butterfly at the end of the month!Even though it was both, my mom's and my friends' first opera experience, none of them felt out of place. In fact, we all felt very welcomed by the wonderful staff members who are always very friendly and helpful. The facilities are also stunningly beautiful!

I have seen two performances at Cincinnati Opera this season and they have both been excellent! The staging, singers, and orchestra were all amazing.
