tripadvisorThis Starbucks is located within the Metro Pointe, in Costa Mesa, California. I was staying with my sister about a mile away from this Starbucks and so I would join my brother-in-law in his daily walk to this location. He hadn’t been going there in quite some time as he had broken his arm in a fall on his last trip a short time ago. I convinced his that we should walk and he accepted. It gave us a good chance to ‘bond’! All the staff of Starbucks was very friendly and quite fast in delivering our orders. I am not a coffee drinker yet they had a nice assortment of hot Teas to select from in a wide variety of sizes. What was most enjoyable were my brother-in-laws group of friends that would be sitting on the outdoor terrace each morning. Each with his cup of coffee and all reminiscing over the good-old-days!
MoreI come to Metro Point when I want to take my time to shop and have a Starbucks break or enjoy the great food at one of the restaurants. There is plenty of parking above or underground, and the sun seems to be shinning at all times.
MoreIs the less-upscale shopping center across the street from south coast plaza just about 0,2 miles. Nice restaurants and cafe to take a bite
MoreUnlike South Coast Plaza, Metro Pointe is not pretentious and caters to ordinary shoppers. My mum wanted to look for affordable clothing and that's what she found. You have Marshall's, a Best Buy and a dining area. Nothing glamorous but that's not what Metro Pointe is going for. There is also a large amount of parking. The list of stores here are not expansive but should have enough stores to cover the essentials.
MoreWith more than a half-dozen places to choose from to eat and a theatre that plays at least 8-10 movies, this is the place to be for variety. Shopping is somewhat limited, but great stores available to chose from, allthough the Barnes and Noble just closed for good. No new tenant. Live music at night on weekends only.
