We were not guests of hotel but after reading all the reviews of the roof top bar decided to visit and have a drink and a photo. We arrived at 3:15 and were told the roof top bar does not open until 4 pm. We got a glass of wine in the downstairs coffee bar and sat in the lobby till 4, tried to use elevator to the penthouse bar and it would not work. We got off elevator and checked again with the front desk, we were told the barkeep would be down to unlock the elevator, just wait a few. At 4:15 my husband checked back in and was told to be patient. At 4:30 I checked back in and asked that they call the penthouse bar ... guess what, it was closed for a private party. We had paid to park on the street and had checked in with the front desk immediately, bought a top dollar glass of wine in their coffee shop and waited, only to be told 1:15 minutes later that the penthouse bar was closed. The front desk was totally unaware of this event, therefor they could not inform any potential customers and thus sent away 2 very unhappy customers. What a way to end a really nice day in downtown Tulsa
