tripadvisorThis is the best night club in Huntington Beach!I've been going for years because i love the dance floor and the ambiance. It's the perfect place to meet up with friends and meet new friends too. They have it all: Great music & bands, karaoke, dancing , pool - a place you can enjoy the entertainment and food! They have the best food in HB too!!! Hands down best food I've eaten in SoCal! Frank knows serving top notch food. They have a complete menu with a wide variety, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even a late-night menu. You will want to come back for more!Tumbleweeds has excellent customer service. The lovely ladies and incredible chefs work hard to provide a great experience. I love Tumbleweeds in Huntington Beach!! Thank you for many awesome years of dancing, great music, fun karaoke, superb food, and for the many friends I've met. Tumbleweeds on Beach Blvd. in Huntington Beach is the best place to have fun!
MoreI find it very interesting that the owner purposefully “forgot” to mention that this location was once known as ‘Stockyard BBQ Restaurant and Saloon’ on his website’s history section. I helped open the Stockyard and worked there while in college. It appears he’d rather bend the truth with this omission.
MoreI'm ashamed to say I stepped foot in this place, but got dragged into it because my friends wanted to participate in karaoke night. Anyway the only saving grace was they had pool tables. So, I'm there playing pool minding my own business, having a good time. I'm on my first game of pool with my friends and some drunk balding gentleman and his hammered girl with dreads (ironic to see the difference in hair) for no reason get up in my face (even spit in my face) telling me how they're gonna kick me off the pool table because they're regulars here. I calmly said ok, but that we were just going to finish our game which was still in-progress. Needless to say, we had waited our turn for the pool table, paid for our game, and were there long before they showed up, so it was frustrating to be confronted by this obviously intoxicated couple. The couple then go ballistic and start threatening to kick my ass and get all butt hurt that they didn't have a pool table to play on. They wouldn't stop and proceed to make death threats even. I'm legitimately scared at this point so I calmly tell the bartender about it. She doesn't do anything whatsoever. The waitress lady working there was extremely rude too and doesn't do a thing either. I told them I feel threatened and that there's death threats directed toward me, but they just laugh like it's a joke. So at this point I'm keen on leaving but am now worried to because the belligerently drunk couple are threatening to follow me outside. I ask if security can at the very least prevent them from following me back to the parking lot to my car, because that's what security is there for right? Well, that assumption was wrong. At first the security guard acts like he is doing his job and I even thank him politely because I thought he was actually doing his job and providing protection. Anyhow, as I am approaching the door to finally leave this dive, the security guard lashes out at me (upset that he has to work, if you even want to call it work). He starts using vulgar language toward me and drops the f bomb at me completely out of the blue. The security guard then proceeds to say don't make me put my hands on you because I briefly stopped walking for a second still surprised over what I just heard. The security guard then puts his hands on me and shoves me hard out the door continuing to cuss insane profanities at me, including get the f out, you f'ing kid, I'll beat the s**t out of you. Even worse, he then starts following me back toward my car and I was legitimately threatened. In summary, it was a traumatic experience. I can't even describe how it feels to have hostile threats directed toward you not only by drunken belligerent customers, but also by employees. It also doesn't feel good to be mocked by the bartender and waitress when you are legitimately concerned and scared for your life. They didn't even take any action whatsoever in trying to boot the drunken belligerent couple out and instead it felt like they sided with them (because they were regulars I guess). Anyway, this is absolutely inexcusable and there is no place for this, especially in a great city like Huntington Beach. To think that I was the one kicked out when I was sober and didn't use vulgar language or harass anybody is ridiculous. Tumbleweed's is a low class bar which shouldn't be permitted to stay open in Huntington Beach if they can't protect their paying customers.
MoreI like to refer to this as the best little neighborhood dive bar in the world. The food is really good. Chef has been there a very long time. Friday night entertainment, new pool tables & modern juke box always going. The owner provides free Thanksgiving meal to anyone that comes in on Thanksgiving day. Lots of locals who also help prep & serve as well as any homeless who come are welcomed.
MoreThis place is great places where locals gather. Pricing is good, pool tables available with a friendly staff. They pour a decent drink.
