I am a nanny and I brought an almost two year old to Play Kingdom. As you enter it smells clean so I was optimistic. Then you get closer and it’s covered in grime and old filth. Books are missing pages. The thing that made me walk out and never wish to return is when I picked up wet kitchenware and fake food in the mini kitchen. I smelled it and it was the chemical disinfectant spray puddling on everything in the two buckets. I took both buckets out of the children’s area, handed it to the 20 year old worker who was using the spray cleaner and told him that this is dangerous to be around children especially toddlers who put their fingers in their mouth. He said there were no children in the immediate area so he thought it would be ok to leave out to dry. Horrible horrible business practice in a children’s play area.. I absolutely do not recommend this place. It’s not safe for the health and safety of the children. I wish I had taken pics but the little one was on the move.

Clean, friendly, so much fun for the kids! We love it here! they have snacks and really good coffee bar. I even went in and worked on my computer while my kids played. very safe since they have the playground blocked in with only two entrances. Went to two birthday parties there and the kids loved it!

We USED to love this place! I would drive from Carlsbad almost every Friday to take my kids there. Well never again, today my 1 year old son was throwing toys on the other side of the gate. Yes, it's annoying I'm sorry. But he is a 1 year old boy that just discovered he can throw so he is practicing it. I know it makes a mess but he wasn't hurting anyone and we can clean up the mess. This is after all a place for kids to play, you should expect a little bit of a mess. Well the old blonde lady felt it was appropriate to aggressively walk over to my son and snatch the shopping cart out of his hands which scared the crap out of him and sent him running to me crying. You could see it in her face that it pissed her off so bad. Honestly, that is not okay for an adult to interact with a 1 year old like that and scare him with your hostility. You are running a business for KIDS get a grip lady, they are messy! Don't waste your time or money going somewhere that doesn't tolerate kids being kids.

I have a 8 year old and 4 year old and they absolutely love Play Kingdom. They are always entertained and leave wanting to go back. I recommend this for kids through elementary school age.
