Left my room early AM and came back 8 hrs later at 5pm. No one had cleaned the room. Front desk said they would send someone right away so I left again for 30 mins and they STILL hadn’t come to start cleaning yet. Rooms are spacious but service here blows! Also hallways are very loud

We recently stayed in Newport for my brother’s Celebration of Life, held nearby. My husband and I, along with our four adult children, had four rooms at the hotel, and our experience could not have been better.Alfred, the afternoon/evening manager, was especially kind and helpful. With so many details to prepare for the service—including flowers and other last-minute arrangements—he went out of his way to help make things easier during a very emotional time for our family.The entire staff was warm, thoughtful, and accommodating. They even had an upgraded room available for my husband and me the night before the service, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture.It’s a beautiful hotel with truly wonderful customer service. A special thank you to Alfred for his kindness, patience, and exceptional care. He helped make a difficult weekend a little easier for our entire family, and we are very grateful.

Not awful, but nothing special for the price. Better choices in the area. Bathroom flooring was buckled, shower head was old and grimy, tub faucet was loose.

Comfortable bed, clean room and facilities.

This claims to be an airport hotel. However the shuttle bus does not run before 630am. This is a west coast airport with many early flights and there were many people waiting for Ubers at 510am because there was no shuttle.
