Georgetown Inn resides in the heart of historic Georgetown. It has welcomed many prominent guests, including the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, since its opening in 1961. The rooms, which are a cross between Victorian and Colonial styles, are spacious and feature separate sitting areas. The atmosphere is so authentic you expect to see Ben Franklin hanging out in the lounge. In addition to fine dining and shopping nearby, the hotel can arrange transportation to the sights in Washington DC.

MoreCozy room… nice staff… perfect location.
MoreI lived in Georgetown for 13 years and have stayed once before at the Georgetown Inn. Very conveniently located for my needs and I loved being at the center of things. The room was small but very nice and the restaurant was good as well.
MoreExcellent location, spacious room and helpful staff.
MoreIt is a shame they have let this historic building deteriorate. The property is in desperate need of a facelift and repairs. The decor throughout is tired. Room was a standard star 3 and not a fraction of a star higher. The robes hanging the closet are thin as a sheet. When I turned on the shower water it came pouring out onto the bathroom floor. There is no minibar or fridge to store medication and beverages. There is clearly a place where there used to be one but they are gone now. The TV remote is impossible to use and the list of channels on a piece of paper is all wrong. I had someone come up twice to help with the TV, very irritating. No turn down service as advertised and housekeeping showed up at 4pm to service my room when I had just returned from a long day to relax and get ready for dinner. The hotel restaurant and bar has very minimal hours. Our stay was from a Monday - Wednesday and the restaurant only opened for breakfast and an early lunch, closing at 2p, no where to go during my late housekeeping service, no where get a late afternoon beverage or a place to gather in the evening after returning from dinner. The only thing it has going for it is a great location if your destination is Georgetown. I know I will get the typical thank you for your stay we will bring your concerns to our team reply . . . don't bother I can see people have made similar comments for years to no avail. I won't be returning.
