The collection was in the travel booklets for Cañon City, Co. but we had no idea how diverse the collection was, and how friendly the staff were. All pieces for sale were by local artists; the presentation was tastefully done, the sales person was herself an artist, whose work was being shown at the store. I would make this a strong recommendation of places to visit in Cañon City when going for the Royal Gorge Train.

The Artists' Gallery gave us many souvenirs to take home with us. Many talented artists represented. They were holding classes in the back room, and we got to take a peek. One of our many stops downtown.

I got myself a bargain.... some local, framed water color (4X6) outdoor scenes; 3 in fact. It's fun to decorate with artists that are from or live in the same town. They have everything - jewelry, wall art, figures, gifts. Stop in - next to All-Star Pets.

If you like art & jewelry & like to buy from local/area artists, this is a must-stop. I bought several things there, all reasonably priced. Excellent service too.
