tripadvisorA Wonderful Stay at Benton Park InnMy wife and I recently spent a night at Benton Park Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The inn is located directly across from a beautiful park, making for a charming and relaxing setting. It was easy to find and conveniently located near the freeway, yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. We stayed in the Virginia Minor Room, which was spacious, exceptionally clean, and very quiet. It provided a comfortable retreat and made for a great night's sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was absolutely terrific and clearly prepared with care. We also enjoyed getting to know Dan, the proprietor, whose warm hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. And of course, meeting Rosie, the inn's friendly dog, was an added bonus. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-maintained bed and breakfast with a great location, excellent food, and genuinely welcoming hosts, I highly recommend Benton Park Inn. We would gladly stay there again.Highly recommended!
MoreThe Virginia Minor suite was comfortable and just beautiful. Dan was an enjoyable and caring host. My elderly husband had some mobility issues and Dan helped him without a lot of fanfare. He is knowledgeable about St. Louis and a great concierge. Rosie was an added pleasure as we love dogs. She was so sweet and a lot of fun. The Inn is located in a beautiful neighborhood with many top venues and restaurants just minutes away. Hope to revisit!
MoreFrom the moment we arrived, Dan made us feel like family. His dog Rosie is so sweet and if she barks at you, don’t worry, it’s just because she wants to play! We really enjoyed our stay at the Benton Park Inn. We stayed in the Virginia Minor suite and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room had everything we needed including a space heater in case we needed more warmth (we did) and a ceiling fan. Note that there’s no TV in the room. If you want to lounge and watch TV, Dan welcomes you to use the living room downstairs where you can relax and play with Rosie. Each morning Dan makes breakfast, which he varies by day so it isn’t repetitive. One day we had an omelette, the next frittata and the next waffles. Overall, we had an excellent stay and sincerely thank Dan (and Rosie!) for his hospitality. We would not hesitate to stay again if we are in the area.
MoreDan and Rosie made us feel so welcome and cared for. The inn is beautiful, parking was easy, and the breakfast was superb. Rosie was a sweet and highly civilized pup. If you are looking for true hospitality, look no further. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
MoreWe had a very nice stay with Dan and Rosie the dog. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed. Our room did not have a TV, but this is not a criticism, just a comment and we were out visiting St Louis most of the time so we did not need a TV. A lovely homemade breakfast was provided by Dan the next morning with fantastic banana bread and frittata. Great value for money!
