Went to explore while staying at nearby hotel. This mall feels tired, defunct, and old. I think the anchor stores are barely hanging on, based on the inventory and how they are trying to disguise that there is lack of traffic. I stayed less than an hour. It may have been much better in the past. I won't go back.

It’s a little bit quiet, but it’s clean and Dillard’s is wonderful. The customer service is outstanding. I like that there aren’t too many people and that it’s kept very clean. I appreciate it. I hope this mall comes back full force with a buckle, Chicos, talbots and a banana republic. Only time will tell. If you go anywhere in there Dillard’s is totally worth it. The food court needs some more options. A Starbucks would surely help and maybe a California pizza kitchen or something. WestGate you’ve got to do something to save your mall. Please invest in new shops and perhaps let go of the ones that aren’t attracting much traffic. The cop car always out front makes me feel safe.

This bankrupt mall is essentially dead. Dillard’s and Belk’s are good stores and JC Penny is fine. The mall itself is extremely poorly managed. Recently they have told hundreds of shoppers that if they shop in the mall and have not purchased anything they have to LEAVE. Otherwise they will have their mall cops escort you off the property. Now mind you they don’t seem to me to be concerned with the Mall SHOOTING(S) that have taken place recently! The Mall manager in my opinion is a total disaster.

I have shopped and walked in this mall for 30 years. I've had nothing but good experiences in the past until this week when I was profiled as an elderly walker and given a trespass notice. When I asked the manager for an explanation she refused, other than cowardly blaming her employer and suggesting I take it up with them. She handled my legitimate inquiry with a level of hostility and arrogant dismissiveness that I've never encountered before in a professional setting.

Dead Mall with Horrible General Manager. This older woman General Manager has run this once nice mall into the ground. She has gutted the security staff to the point it feels unsafe to visit. The building has leaky roofs in many sections and the mall and grounds are unkept. Shop here at your own risk.
