This is a teensy weensy park that sits just west of & under the bridge that leads back to Cape Coral. The bat houses look to be in need of repair, there are a couple of very short walking paths here & there are restrooms as well but am not sure if they are locked most of the time.

We made the trip specifically to see the bats come out at dusk from under the bridge. And we stayed over an hour. But saw no bats at all. In speaking with a few fisherman on the bridge we learned they haven't seen any bats either. I guess they moved away after the bridge was rebuilt.

Great little spot off the drawbridge. Has only one house. The bathroom next to it is bigger. Great views of the gulf. Perfect to see a sunset or the fireworks across the bay. Oh and there are the bats.

If you're visiting Matlacha Island, stop here to see the Bat House and watch the fisherman on the bridge. The fishermen were cleaning their fish and throwing the leftovers to the pelicans.

This is a great place to sit and watch people fishing off of the bridge, watch the sunrise/sunset, watch dolphins and pelicans, or just rest while on a walk. The bathrooms are some of the cleanest public bathrooms I have ever experienced. It is obvious that this small park is well cared for.
