MoreI enjoyed visiting the Baisley Pond Park near the AirBnB of Kevin. There are some old trees and walking paths in the park. The pond itself is slowly shrinking. Playing fields are also there. An oasis of calm in the busy city.
MoreIt is not the best neighborhood. However there is usually a police car nearby and every time I visited it felt pretty safe. The path around the pond is good for bicycle/roller skates/skateboard. Playground is nice too. There are also tennis courts and a big field. People oftentimes fly kites there in summer. There is also a miniature garden with a gazebo.
MoreThough it’s not Central Park, Baisley pond has a nice walking trail around the whole pond. You might happen upon a cricket match on the south side of the pond.
MoreThis is a beautiful neighborhood park which has all types of activities on the weekends. One can be a spectator to many competitive games . Cricket and football are played every weekend by different clubs from different areas/countries. You might even get lucky and be able to sample some dishes from different places.
