We have been playing softball here for the last 2 years and it is awesome! The facility is really clean especially the bathrooms. The staff is very accomodating and helpful!

As a daily bicyclist, this is where I go each day from my home in North Boca. I enter the T-Rex trail just southwest of the Boca Raton Tri-Rail station which then continues under and past the Spanish River Bridge overpass and eventually merges into the smooth asphalt paths of the Spanish River Athletic Facility. Once you start on the trail, there are no roads to cross or motorists to contend with, and you can look forward to endless miles of doing most anything. Of course, you can also access the facility directly from Spanish River Boulevard, just across the street from the library. This 85 acre park is located on former IBM property and now houses several playing fields and a lake with a paved path around the perimeter. Hours of operation are: Monday - Saturday 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM; and Sunday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM You can do a lot of fun things at this facility. The fields can be rented out and generally you'll find organized leagues playing on them, but individuals can use them as well. The facility is ADA Accessible, offers both day and lighted night-time activities, free parking, picnic areas, picnic tables, a playground, and restrooms. For sports-minded folks, they have baseball / softball fields, football and soccer fields, and also you can rollerblade, play flag football, bicycle, and walk.
