Hotel Indigo Anaheim by IHG Hotel

When visiting Disney and you wish to stay somewhere away from all the crowds, but close enough to all the action that Walt has to offer, then the Hotel Indigo Anaheim is your best choice. The property is highly recommended because it's several minutes away from the parks, parking is complimentary and the modern, comfortable rooms exude elegance without that dated decor as you sometimes find at other Disney area hotels. Other amenities include an on-site restaurant, fitness center, ergonomic work desks, organic toiletries and if you are traveling with your pet, the property allows them for a non-refundable deposit.

My wife and I visited to go to Disney without our children for the first time ever. The Indigo was terribly disappointing. We won’t ever be back. The incessant noise, the lack of basic essentials, and the parking garage. It sounds like people are stacking boulders in the room immediately above our room.We drove back from the park, and there was leaking sewage everywhere in their garage. We parked so we didn’t have to march through their sewage with our dog. And, then they woke us up this morning demanding we move our car, in their garage, because we parked on a line outside of their sewage. Unacceptable. When we tried to leave, they told us they were going to charge us anyway.Don’t stay here unless you hate yourself. I’m normally a fan of ICG. No longer.

The rooms were extremely updated and immaculately clean. I cannot stress enough how clean everything was! Everything is modern and in excellent shape. The rainfall style shower was incredible and had really strong water pressure. The beds were comfy. The staff was the shining star. They were able to accommodate us on an extremely busy night at 3 AM after an emergency. It was the last night of a convention and the front desk lady was able to get us the last room in the hotel at a reasonable price. Without her, we would have to have slept in our car. We are now customers for life

I have stayed in many IHG hotels of varying tiers and I tend to like the quirkiness of Hotel Indigo; it’s never the same twice, but unfortunately the quality of the accommodations varies as widely as the atmosphere and other features. Anaheim is the bottom of the Indigo spectrum, solidly a three-star hotel. The staff are absolutely five-star, though, every front desk person was absolutely lovely, helpful, warm, and kind. The room was spotlessly clean, as well, and never before have I walked outside to find a person diligently mopping all the guest registration parking spaces. It managed to smell nice and be bonkers clean in the =parking lot=. They are the reason for the majority of these stars, they are gems.I think this IHG property is doing the absolute most with what they have to work with… it’s clear that the building was repurposed at some point from a more dated design/layout. If you’re just using this as a place to sleep after the parks, you’ll be fine. Beds are comfy, shower is hot, and it was very quiet… after the fireworks, which we were pleasantly surprised to see (and definitely hear) from our first-floor room!I will say that we were offered a Katella-facing room on a higher floor but also Room 126 on the first floor… and we took the latter, which I wouldn’t do again. AC units were very loud and inconsistently rattly, but it was terribly hot outside and extremely clammy and humid in the room when we had the air going. Highly recommend a dehumidifier or replacement AC units that don’t just chill the wet air from outside and blast it at you. :( Change to split units or something, please… the room is smelling musty.

This was my first stay at this hotel, and we had a wonderful experience. The reception team was very welcoming and professional. The breakfast team was also extremely courteous and knowledgeable, and they were happy to answer all of our questions about the menu. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The hotel is only a few blocks from Disneyland, making it an excellent choice for families visiting the park.We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon!

Great choice! I have stayed here before for other Disneyland trips but this is the first time I tried the restaurant/bar. I enjoyed the fish tacos and green salsa so much (an AMAZING deal during happy hour) that I went back the next night for dinner again. Salvatore in the front and cook in the back were great and I am looking forward to my next visit! All the staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel is within walking distance of Disneyland which was my destination.
