Lord Baden-Powel School is governed by the Magnolia School District in Anaheim, Calif. It enrolls more than 600 students in general education. It also educates more than 50 special needs students from within and outside district in its severely and orthopedically handicapped special day classes. Its bilingual instructional assistants support students learning English as a second language, as well as those with special needs in its special day classes. It has various parent committees, such as a parent-teacher association, school site council and English language advisory committee. The parents volunteer in classrooms, support students by helping teachers make materials for the classroom and chaperone field trips. It organizes book fair, on study trips, yearbook and other family events. Its extracurricular activities include monthly student recognition assemblies, grade level performances, and family literacy and science nights.
