My husband basically had to drag me out of this store. WONDERFUL small bookshop with great values and inclusivity. If we weren't traveling, I probably would have purchased a lot more. :)

This is a clean and welcoming local bookstore with a good selection of Oklahoma interest works. The employees were friendly.

I love Magic City Books primarily because they have provided author events I have truly enjoyed. Some I consider a once in a lifetime experience. Their staff is very helpful and friendly and I usually find great unexpected items whenever I visit the store. I have not visited in some time because of COVID-19 so I order books online and usually have them mailed for a small fee. This is one place I want to succeed! Let's support our independent bookstores!

One of my favorite things to do when travelling for business is to pick up some kids books from a local bookstore. Bonus if the books are written by or about the area I am visiting. Magic City books was across the street from my hotel and when I walked in I felt transported to Brooklyn. The décor, the layout and the obligatory café were all very hipster modern. They had a section right in front with some local books and I found something quickly. The people working there were extremely nice and willing to chat not just to make a sale but because they seemed likely genuinely nice people. I love finding these hidden gems in my travels.
