I stayed here for a week on an RCI exchange and had an amazing experience. The resort itself is small, intimate, and quiet, which is exactly what I was looking for. The staff were pleasant, responsive and just lovely to deal with. The unit itself was also great - quite large, well-supplied, and impeccably clean. The local area has a lot to see and do, including a vibrant restaurant and microbrewery scene and beautiful beaches. It's also great as a base for day-trips, including to LA.

After the Christmas chaos we sought an escape. We found a gem in Harbortown Point. Everything exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect as we day tripped to OJai, Santa Barbara, Carpentaria, and Summer Land. So much to see in the local area such as Ventura main street, Peninsula park, the harbor on Spinnaker, and a whale watching trip to the channel islands. We will be back.

We had a really great one week stay over Christmas week in a studio unit located on the third floor. On arrival the grounds were festively decorated for the holidays. The studio provided us plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was basically a full use kitchen. It had everything we needed. No full size oven, but had a convection oven. The bathroom was huge. Double sinks, separate tub from shower. Separate living and dining space from bedroom area. Nice size patio. Our patio overlooked the pool, with a peak of the ocean. Very comfortable. The only downside for us was the queen size bed. We will go for a one bedroom next time just to have a king size bed. This was our only negative. The location is great. Perfect for walking the waterfront, and a short distance to drive for great restaurants and shopping. The staff were friendly, and helpful. Breakfast in the downstairs restaurant was very good. We did not get a chance to use the complimentary bicycles, nor the pool, or jacuzzi, nor partake in the daily activities offered. Maybe next time.Just a note: We submitted a review through our timeshare exchange to TripAdvisor six days ago that did not get published. I am re-submitting on my own.

This was our 2nd time staying at this resort and we will plan on staying there again. The location is perfect for us. We had a lower level unit, but an ocean view and private balcony, so you still had privacy and the view. It was raining the whole time so the foot traffic was low. I dealt with a Suzi at the front desk and she was excellent.

Government Shutdown, political chaos, lots going on- we needed to escape. This was ideal-so very quiet, peaceful, fully appointed with amenities, yes it was perfect. Yet, at the same time there were planned activities on site, a lovely small restaurant on site as well as others within a brisk walk, tourist options available that didn't include government intervention (the shutdown!). We had a private patio to watch the sunset, or enjoy a meal, a large studio setting with beautifully appointed furnishings- again, a fabulous escape to relax!
