Hotel is twice the price of motel 6 and has no pool. Small rooms and spoiled milk. Not to mention very limited parking.

After a terrible experience at another hotel, we were a little apprehensive about staying here, but the Comfort Inn completely exceeded our expectations.We arrived around 11:00 p.m. with two sleeping kids, and Adam at the front desk went above and beyond to make our arrival as easy as possible. The parking lot was full, so he actually moved his own car so we would have a place to park. We also asked for an extra blanket during check-in, and he immediately went out of his way to get one for us. His kindness and exceptional customer service made such a great first impression.Throughout our stay, every member of the staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast each morning—it had a great variety and was much better than we expected.The location was another huge plus. Being right next to In-N-Out made it easy to grab dinner for the kids after a long day, and it was within walking distance of the beach.For a hotel in this price range, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend staying here and will absolutely be back the next time we’re in Ventura!

Good location. I don't know if they had just done a deep clean in the disabled room they assigned us. Whole room felt damp!My wife and I are NOT disabled, however , they gave us the old open shower treatment which is terrible for containment of more moisture!!For amount paid, not good value.One redeeming aspect: good provision of breakfast items!Jamie was a pleasant check-in attendant....Stayed June 2026

Breakfast was very good. Location was key as we were attending an event at the Ventura Fairgrounds. Many gas stations, restaurants close by. One thing that bothered me was we had a room next to families with small children. If you’re a couple, might need to mention that upon check in. Our room was clean, bed was firm but comfortable. Thankfully it wasn’t too noisy on our floor that it was quiet enough and didn’t have to change rooms rooms

You scammed me. You did not give me a receipt and refused to send or give me one when I called today. you charged my credit card $680.53. By phone you told me an amount that was 1/3 of that. When I called, you claimed that I had reserved through a third-party, I never heard of, and I have no paperwork to prove that. That is the scam if you allowed someone to intercept my trusting innocent call to Comfort Inn and to add on charges, I was never told about and never agreed to.
