the Russian Mermaid is well worth the walk to see. there is one at Soter's Point and another across the channel both are accessible, one will have to drive to each.

always a beautiful park. you can just walk the short trail to the Mermaid Status or stroll along the beach, bring you dog or love or both. nice breezes and great views. during week very little crowds, no fee to get in or for parking

Great visit. I grew up here in the 70’s and the locals are still very cool. Moved away in the 90’s. Miss this place. GREAT DOG RUN. Don’t mind the minuscule idiots that give you the “ look “ for not having your dog on a leash. My friendly, well trained, obedient doggie has Never had an incident with a dog here. The dogs are awesome. Very clean. Thank you Ventura and park rangers!

A fun place to take the kids, watch the beautiful sunsets, or lie on the grass and picnic or just absorb the great weather. Small, rocky but very sheltered beach, BBQs to use, and even a old concrete ship for the kids to play on.

Nice beach area and a great place to get super photos. Play area for children looked really nice and well maintained. Great beach with easy access.
