Nice public Green space with a huge monument to William j Gaynor. Across from the subway station. Plenty of benches. Reasonably clean and seems very safe.

It is nice to have a park here, where the Brooklyn Bridge meets Brooklyn. And there are lots of offices and some apartment around, so people can take advantage of the green space. It is not a major park, nor is it distinguished by much, but a welcome space.

This park is part of the downtown urban renewal area. It used to be a maze of old 19th Century streets and transit hubs. During our stay it was right outside our big window. And we strolled through it to get to the subway. Always quite a few people around. Some construction going on to rehab it.

Cadman Plaza Park is a nice area in Downtown Brooklyn. It is a straight line from Cadman Park to Dumbo and down to the waterfront next to the East River so it's a really pleasant walk.When I visited in October 2023 part of the park was closed off as it was being redeveloped. I am sure when it is finished it will be an even nicer area to spend some time at.

Looks great on a mid-spring day as the trees are in green and some blooming with flowers. Also some flowering bushes. Places to sit in the shade. Quite a few people taking advantage of the green space. Too much traffic going to and from the Bridge.
