The Green Lake Park is one of Seattle's most popular recreation parks that became a part of the city as a part of the grand Olmsted plan, which aimed at creating a cluster of interconnected green spaces within the city. The lake is engulfed by a 2.8 mile (4.5 km) path that is divided into two different lanes, one for un-motorized vehicles and the other for pedestrians. These paths attract a lot of people seeking relaxation and exercise and hence can be crowded, especially on weekends. The Park also features water sports facilities, a golf course, a library and a theater. The Green lake is home to a wide array of flora and fauna, making it a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.

tripadvisorGreat place for a good stroll / exercise walk and Seattle people watching. Green Lake very hip neighborhood. Lots of activities going on. If you want a good walk make sure to stop here.
MoreThe lake has been a favorite go-to in general. There are plenty of activities and random people who are more than willing to offer a conversation, along with random pets. The nature has been quite unique when various bird species like geese, crows, and bald eagles can be in the same vicinity.
MoreThis is a busy park on Green Lake. There is a walking/biking trail that runs around the lake. The total path is about 3 miles.
MoreAmazing space to run, stroll, and enjoy nature all year round. Lovely views of the lake from all angle, and cafes & restaurants to refuel if needed
MoreGreat park to walk around the lake and make the full loop. Lots of green space, play fields, pickleball, and everything in between.
