Highly recommend street tour. Learned a lot about Jefferson Street. My guy with the afro was well informed.

Out of all of the Nashville Tours, The Civil Rights Walking Tour of Nashville came highly recommended so I decided to book. Our guide shared stories that are both historic and inspiring. It was very fun and informative. I can't wait to take some of the other tours listed. My favorite stop was visiting the Nashville Civil Rights Museum that is made up of a room full of interactive exhibits. While there we sat around the symbolic lunch counter and learned about the Ten Rules of Conduct that the protesters followed during the sit-ins.

The Civil Rights Tour offers sharp insights into Nashville politics and the social climate of that period. I thought I had a strong understanding of the civil rights movement but quickly realized there was so much more to know. Learning about the origins, leaders, strategy, and tactics with our guides Chakita and Ogden was an incredible experience.
