They'll say they're a highbrow (ha) society like those exist in my opinion. Child delinquency if your pro-Black. Three years we lived here, we relied on the library. We went to all three in Mesa and its always the same. The parents stand block at the playgrounds, in the library they don't speak, dining in they look over us... I even tried an indoor playground if you don't luck up the hour you paid for is a waste. I don't recommend moving here for Black people especially not families. The prejudice and racism is thick. Now they do have storytimes, but you have to bare the stares and them looking over you.

Nice library with private rooms. The downstairs houses the teen and children books. Upstairs is the adult section which houses magazines, talking books, DVDs, books and a seed catalog. It is spacious, clean and quiet. There are stairs and an elevator.Plenty of free parking in their personal lot. Free WiFi and electric car charging stations.

I liked that Mesa Public Library. Outside it shows amazing! I started walking and enjoying the books on the second floor. We heard that everybody should go out because of COVIT. I lked the second floor. They had comfortable chairs. I will remember this!

Mesa partners with Phoenix digital to provide books, audiobooks if you have a Mesa Library card. I have the Red Mountain Branch Library Card. I recently also use my card for RBDigital - which is a magazine reading site. JUST AWESOME .. and growing everyday!

Lots of choices in this location and helpful staff. We need to support our libraries. Even with so much info on line these days, libraries still have a vital role to play.
