Every now and then, I will pay a visit to a local no-frills dive bar. This takes me to the Central Valley city of Modesto where my lady and I had the opportunity to check out The Fox Pub....

Cave-like and casual. The Fox Pub is conveniently located Downtown next to the Gallo Center. I came by with a few friends on a Saturday evening and was surprised that it was not as busy as I have...

Good place to grab a drink and a bite before an event across the street @ the Gallo Center! The servers and bartenders were genuinely happy to serve us, the food was good, the drinks were cold...

Nice place for a drink and small meal. Friendly staff and plenty of seating. Nice patio outside and an upstairs area too.

Mike the bartender was cool guy to talk to about the area. Super helpful and friendly. Cool spot to check out and hang out when in the area amongst the other bars and clubs in this area.
