I've been to Carolina Theatre in Greensboro several times and always had a great experience. It's a beautiful, classic venue that feels special every time we visit. The refillable popcorn and soda are a big hit with the kids and makes the whole outing a lot more fun and affordable.The staff is friendly, and everything's always clean and well-run. Definitely one of the best places in town to catch a show or movie.

Beautiful preserved theater. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed an Oscar nominated film here, and more impressive was a performance by Mike Wiley on Breach of Peace: Stories of the Freedom Riders of 1961.

The Carolina shows holiday films on a big (but not quite cinematic) screen upstairs in its Crown bar area, and that's what we visited. I'd like to go back and see the big history area, but this one was good, with vaulted ceilings, good sound, clear image, and enthusiastic staff.

I have been to 2 shows here; one upstairs and the main theater. The music is always great but the freaking videographers walking all over the stage and in front of the artists is so distracting. I didn’t pay to see the ass end of a stage hand. I have never been to a venue that does this. It ruins the show.

1100 seat theatre presenting for and by the community. Excellent patron comforts. Always a pleasure to attend events in this venue.
