It has been many years since we have been to the Palace Theatre. We were in awe at all of the restoration that has been done. It is truly a treasure worth restoring. We enjoyed the entertainment of the live production of Scrooge the Musical to start our Christmas season. All of the theatre staff were pleasant, cheerful and helpful and the actors and pit orchestra were outstanding. It was so refreshing to watch this production. Looing forward to attending more events there.

Part of the reason I love it is because I spent many, many Saturday afternoons there in the fifties, watching movies or cartoons for a quarter or 35 cents. As a kid, I never noticed the sheer beauty of the interior! It has been saved and restored (to a point) and it is indeed magnificent. Today, I saw the live production THE LITTLE MERMAID, and it was very good in spite of the many kids there, (some did a lot of talking). The seats are comfortable and there is PLENTY of room between the rows. It wasn't like that when I was a kid, but I cannot complain about that change.

Visited the Palace for a West Point Glee Club concert, a very comfortable old style vaudeville era theater in Lockport. Not as ornate as others but still very comfortable, 1.5 to double spaced rows of seating make this a very comfortable venue. Acoustics very good, balcony adds to the old time quality. Nice!

Went here to go see the movie sully. Seating is comfortable and rows are spaced very far apart so no need to get up for other people entering your row. The theater is well taken care of and beautiful. The parking is a bit of a challenge though. You must walk a bit. I didn't see any close handicapped parking either. The theater has many different varieties of entertainment. Check on line to see whats coming up, some things are free also. One problem, no buttered popcorn. When I go to a movie that is one treat I enjoy. They make their own popcorn - like the stuff that comes in a bag that already has flavoring on it. What happened to real butter? Anyway, the price for a movie is only $7.
