tripadvisorGreat area and very walkable. Shops and restaurants all over along the 3 blocks. The public market starts here too. Near the river walk
MoreFun place to stop for lunch, coffee or a drink. They have some incredible food options . Ww arrived early to beat the crowds. By the time we ate lunch at St. Paul’s fish company, it was packed.
MoreLocated in downtown, the Historic Third Ward is a neighbourhood in the historic warehouse district. The entrance is at St Paul and Water Street, it is home to restaurants, shops, art galleries and hundreds of businesses. Bounded by the river to the west and south and Lake Michigan to the east, there is the huge public market offering an array of indoor speciality food, plus a small park and public space named the Erie Street Plaza on the southern edge. Worth a visit, also enjoy the varied and creative public art and wall paintings, the Historic Third Ward has something for everyone.
MoreWe enjoyed the Public Market - food was great - but overall the 3rd Ward was just a few blocks to walk around and almost nothing to see. After 15 minutes my sons asked if we could leave Milwaukee and go back to Chicago early.
MoreThe show was Great. Music was fantastic. Best performance I have seen in a long long time. The meal in the Fireside restaurant also excellent.
