tripadvisorThis is clearly a local Friday Night event. We just happened to be here on a Friday night, so we went. It was a lot of fun. There is art of all levels...from beginner to very professional. Some galleries has some wine and snacks and they offer free popcorn in the center of the mall area. I wish the city I lived in offered something like this to the publish and to encourage new artist.
MoreThis is such an amazing place. The first Friday of every month they open up for the art walk. It's free and a great place to see the local artists and their work. I go every chance I get. I recommend it to everyone.
MoreThe first Friday art walk is a good relaxing way to spend an evening viewing some decent art work by local talent. Located in the old Sunset Center Mall you can visit a number of small galleries taking your time. It is also open during the afternoon although some of the galleries may be closed but sometimes when open you can see the artist at work.
MoreWe do enjoy the monthly Art Walk first Fridays. but the potential of this place to have entertainment, eat supper, have drinks(not so much alcohol) but a good place for that. piano bar, music, popcorn and snacks, food items from local bakers, food crafters. Just a huge potential missed. Former management was lacking, takeover management isn’t any better. The auditorium is sooo wasted. A great super club with entertainment could be such a win again! So many local entertainers in this town. Two huge education, AC,WT, Smaller towns around, 5 high schools, 4 performing arms of entertainment. Not Thinking out side the box is a waste of again making Anarillo center of the Panhandle!
MorePretty quiet on a Monday afternoon. First Friday is the time to come, I suppose. On the other hand, if most places are closed you won’t get lured in and have your ear bent by artists.
