We were in Ft. Lauderdale for our family vacation and decided to have our son try a jet pack. I booked it over the phone before we left and they accepted the groupon price I had found. Monday came and I used the gps on my phone directly from the address in the email they sent me, it sent us to a plaza. So I tried the address on their site..same plaza, nothing there. We drove around looking for a while and couldn't find it. I called 30 minutes before our appt. a few times, leaving a message. As the appointment time came and went with no call back, we got nervous, because of other bad reviews. We felt scammed. So we headed the hour back to our hotel. We stopped over half way to get lunch and they called. She sent me a text with an address that worked, I also put in Markham Park on the car gps to make sure. We were close when I got a call and he walked me through the rest of the directions, my phone was giving the same directions. We found them and were very relieved! Leave plenty of time to find it, just in case. Once he was hooked up and in the water, it was awesome to watch! The instructions were very clear and they were very patient, if you need a minute break you aren't rushed. All in all a very good experience that we would do again. The pictures we took came out amazing, something he will never forget! Thank you for a fun afternoon.

Bought a groupon.. Planning to be in the area pre cruise. Contacted multiple times, finally got a response but trying to finalize date and location impossible. Very sketchy. Had to get groupon refund.

I purchased 2 x Groupons for Rocketman Jetpak rides in Ft Lauderdale on 12 December. Starting on the 15th of December I started calling to make reservations. After leaving multiple messages on their voicemail, I was finally contacted and advised that they only had 1 opening left in 2014 but would check for potential cancellations and call me back. One of the Groupons/rides was for a friend visiting from up North leaving before New Year’s Day. They did not call back and again I had to leave messages to try and at least get the 1 opening booked. Once this was finally done, we showed up on time (8:30, 23 December, at the address listed on their website and the Groupon). Nobody was there and after several calls, I found out they were in Key Largo, several hours away, that day and there were still no other openings available before 1 Jan. At about 11PM that night (23 December) I received a text message stating they had an opening for 3PM on the 24th at Markham Park near Weston, FL. We were there on time and could not find them, when I asked at the park office, the ranger told me that no such company was allowed to even operate within the park (due to alligators in their ponds/lakes!) I was not able to reach them by phone that day, or since and the friends from out of town are now all gone.

Me and my husband wanted to do something out-of-the-box and surprise our children with a Jetpack ride, as well as ourselves. I booked the appointment with our 4 Groupon vouchers and was able to fly the very next day, which was a Saturday. When we arrived, they had the jetpack ready as well as a canopy covered picnic table for us to sit while we waited and watched everyone go which was great considering the 90+ temps and little cloud coverage. Our grandkids were able to play in the water and enjoy themselves as well. My husband took video and photos and Ashley offered to take photos and videos of him because I have no clue how technology works these days, haha. We all got pretty high out of the water and the instructor was phenomenal! He was patient and extremely knowledgeable with what he does. We could not have asked for a more perfect day from the weather to the service and we will be coming back to fly this winter with them! Thank you again...

My wife surprised me with a jet pack experience for my birthday, which was an amazing surprise. Unfortunately she picked the wrong company to fulfill it. After waiting an hour at the location and calling several times, NO ONE SHOWED UP. After repeatedly calling their number we were finally able to get Ashley on the phone who said she had no idea what was going on. After my wife had to call her back to figure out what was going on, another 30 minutes passed when Ashley stated that the guy was on his way and would be another 30 minutes. We decided to pass and get a refund. The refund turned into another saga that is still pending 20+ phone calls, 14 voicemails, and many emails later. Each time we call and finally get someone on the phone (which is difficult by itself), we are given the run around. Our experience thus far makes this entire company and jet pack experience from Rocketman feel like a SCAM!!! We did book with another company a couple days later and I had an amazing experience. It is a must try activity for Miami!
