We went on a guided tour of Lake Caddo, and Chas, our boat captain and tour guide was excellent. He gave us so much history and folklore of Lake Caddo and the area, and answered all of our questions. He also recommended several books and movies to watch that were written about Lake Caddo, and the people who lived there. He was very courteous, and kindly stopped at places in the water, so we could take lots of photos and videos! We were also saw a small alligator, which was Also, the woman, whose name I can't remember, who booked our tours, and helped us when we got there was incredibly kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend Chas and Johnson's Ranch Marina for a tour of Lake Caddo. In fact, we were so impressed, that we will go back to do a night tour, and a tour in November when the leaves turn colors!

A highlight of our vacation. The boat tour with Will is highly recommended; he was knowledgeable, informative and was able to answer all of our many questions.

Great place to rent your canoe. The lady who runs this place is super friendly and extremely helpful. She will get you in the water quickly and point you in the right direction. We followed her directions and were not disappointed. She showed us the trail that would give us the iconic views of Caddo Lake and she was not wrong. It was exactly the experience we were looking for. 10 out of 10 would rent again. The shop also has snacks and drinks that are all priced very reasonably.

We went out with Chas Warren a local fishing guide working out of this marina. He put us on the crappie and it was a fabulous day in spite of several inches of rain falling just a few hours earlier. We will be back to fish with him!

A must-visit if in Uncertain. Just a cool laid-back place. Rent boats from here, fish, grab a beer and hang out on the water. A cool local spot with great views and history.
