My kids and I had such a wonderful time at Handled Pottery! We took classes with Micah who made us all feel really comfortable at the wheel (even though none of us had any idea what we were doing). Micah was patient, generous, and so kind to the kids (and to me) - we loved our pieces when we were done, and would not have gotten there without Micah's support and guidance. Handled Pottery is a special place, and the kids and I can't wait to go back again soon! Thank you, Micah!

We absolutely loved our experience at the Handled Pottery Studio! My kids treated me to a Dads, Donuts & Mugs workshop, where we enjoyed scrumptious donuts and delicious coffee (The Goods / Lofty, IYKYK!) while crafting our own mugs. Despite having no prior clay experience, the instructor, Elle, was incredibly patient and helpful with my kids. I highly recommend other parents with young kids check out the youth classes and summer camps. It's a perfect family activity!

This place is awful. They lost my pottery and never called me back. I left a google review and the owner accused me of never having gone and made some excuse as to why they never check their voicemails. Save yourself the headache and go to a different spot.

We had a great time here learning to make pottery in a 2-3 hour lesson. Sorry, I can't remember how long we were there because we had so much fun. The studio is in an artist's cooperative so there are other art-based businesses for shopping. We arrived and April (the owner) had tools, supplies and pottery wheels ready for us. You can bring your own snacks and after a brief introduction, she gets you on the wheel and teaches you to make your own ceramics. We made a bowl, plate and cup - though mine didn't quite come out looking right, it was SOOO much fun. This was a great activity for our girls night, but would also be great for families or couples.
