tripadvisorVisited before our statue tour as it’s just down the sidewalk from the boat dock that you leave from.Solemn, simple but beautiful, thought invoking. Please don’t let your kids climb on the memorial for photos, it’s extremely disrespectful. Stop by and pay your respects to those who lost their lives that day.
More⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The Empty Sky Memorial is a must-see when visiting NJ/NY. The design is stunning — I love the reflections, clean lines, and geometric nature of the structure. It’s also an incredible photo spot with superb views of the NYC skyline. Parking is free and fairly easy, though it can get crowded on weekends and peak times. Truly a beautifully built and meaningful place that leaves an impression.
MoreIt was awesome. The memorial was a beautiful and refreshing site to see. Me and my granddaughters enjoyed being able to take the time to pray for the souls lost, as well as the families.
MoreNothing much. Just gave a 5 star because it is a memorial of the people who have fallen from the muslim extremists. I guess names are people from NJ
MoreThe memorial is located in Liberty State Park in New Jersey. This happens to be where you can board the boat to Livery Island. The memorial is located to the side of the railroad terminal by the wharf. One end has the old girders of the building. The two walls creates a path towards Manhattan, in the direction of the twin towers. The walls of the memorial have the victims names etched into them. The memorial is simple and beautiful.
