Carolyn gave us a fantastic tour. As a local in Chicago, I did not know about these fascinating facts and events that have taken place. She was such a good storyteller and price was worth it.I highly recommend going in October as it heightens the spookiness.

I took this tour with my husband on a recent long weekend trip to Chicago. We've done a lot of the touristy main attractions in the city already and wanted something a little different. This fit the bill perfectly. Our tour guide, Chris, was funny (appropriately so) and full of information and fascinating stories, both real and urban legend. I appreciated the flow of the tour and how we got little breadcrumb bits of the stories along the way as we moved from location to location. I really felt transported to the timeframes he talked about! It's a very manageable amount of walking (about 1.5 miles in total with lots of stops, including a restroom/sit down/refreshments for purchase stop for about 10 minutes at a historic hotel). I would highly recommend this tour to friends and family!

We took the walking tour gangsters and ghosts, guided by Chris, and it was by far the best tour we've done in our 5-day trip to Chicago! It was very informative and our guide was very knowledgeable and funny and fun and did an excellent job entertaining and educating us in all of the fun lore of ghost stories and gangsters in Chicago's notorious history. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anybody who likes to take walking tours in any City!
