Before I arrived back home, I thought we (my wife and I) had a wonderful time. I had gone to Detroit to attend my best friends son's wedding. We had originally planned on staying 3 nights but decided to make it 2 nights, a Thursday and Friday night. When we arrived back home on Saturday, I looked at my credit card bill and found I was charged $833. It should have been about $422. I called immediately and the person at the front desk asked me if I signed the credit card receipt. I told her I had but did not notice the charge. She told me if I had signed it, then I had agreed to the charge. No recourse!! I am embarrassed but I am 75 years old and have had some cognitive issues. I must have just missed seeing the charge. I am not happy at all. It really ruined a very pleasant event with my friends.

Spent two nights at this interesting hotel. Beds were comfortable and rooms attractive. Coffee in lobby only (no in room machines) with a small selection of pastry. The two story rooms had small refrigerators but the standard rooms didn't. The cocktail lounge was nice to have onsite for nightcaps. Overall a decent option.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful from the customer service, atmosphere, amenities; the whole nine yards. A wonderful place for any sort of occasion in downtown Detroit!
