I have to really give a shout out to the staff at this hotel, particularly to Ms. Jackson, who went so above and beyond I can’t thank them enough! First of all, I was so warmly greeted and appreciated at check in after a very long travel day that it really made my day as this sort of reception is not always the case. Secondly, the room was great, the location was fantastic, the amenities were wonderful. Lots of hotels have great facilities but what made this experience stand out was the customer service. I unfortunately left an item in my room when I checked out and once I realized it the next day I was gutted and thought there was no way I’d get it back. I called the hotel and they did not dismiss me at all but went way out of their way to assist. I received two separate calls back from Ms. Jackson who was so incredibly kind and thoughtful and they found my item and mailed it to me! I can’t say enough about how grateful I am and it was really a testament to how kind and gracious the hospitality was from start to finish but also after I had even left! This is why I stay in hotels and not airbnbs, the customer service is unmatched and is not just about getting your dollars but about providing quality service. Thank you again Ms Jackson, I see you, I appreciate you, and you deserve the highest accolades.

Overall, pleasant stay, clean, tidy, easy to access and overlook, premises surrounded by stores, shops and remarkable attractions, all within walking distance. Visited The White House, just a few blocks away, as well as attractions such as the Lincolm memorial and museums. There was even coffee in the lobby, just to go. That particular night I have chose points instead of breakfast, therefore, no report on that one. Gym was good, also lost a few points there.

If you've booked this hotel, it's a good option - I just didn't love it. There were a few improvements/changes that could be made for a much better stay.Positives:- Good location but the immediate area was a bit soulless. A convenience store (Wawa) was right across from the hotel which was useful.- Staff were friendly.- Bed was extremely comfy. - I appreciated the lavender bags in the lobby that were complimentary and could be taken to your room.Improvements/suggestions:- I was initially placed in a room on the 5th floor that was right next to the elevators, above an alleyway with dumpsters and air con units which were very loud. Make sure to ask for a quiet room not facing the alleyway. I called the front desk and this was rectified immediately which was much appreciated. - The lobby area of this hotel is a bit strange. The front desk is very small, compared to the rest of the lobby and it is cramped for check in/check out.- I appreciate rooms that don't have carpet - they feel much cleaner! However, the wood flooring in this room did feel a bit sticky. - The website says robes are provided, but I had to request these and slippers.

Decent stay dampened by an early checkout charge, despite the room being prepaid in full. Have reached out to hotel but no response. This was not mentioned at the front desk when I left.

I arrived at 630pm... My room was not ready... Customer service was rude.Couches in the lobby need cleaning.
