tripadvisorSo humbling to be in at this Flight 93 Memorial. It has been one of the places that I have wanted to go to. Bus and driver were FANTASTIC!
MoreWife and I took a Virginia Beach tour. It was an okay stay but the trip I'm that bus was horrible. First it is so tight and close that my wife and I rubbed Arma for 12 hours. Second there is no where to put anything so it can be easily retrieved. There are no holders for bottle of water and there isn't any sort of cargo pouch where things csn be stored. You have to put what you have in your hand away, then bring out what you want, then put that away to get something else. I know I'll never travel on this bus line again. Be forewarned if trip is longer than 2-3 hours you will regret this. Virginia Beach is also a hit or miss thing as you can get good weather or horrible weather this time of year. The first two days were very high winds, the last day was fine, then on the day we left they had rain. Given the terrible cramped nature of their bases this trip is really not worth it. Additionally, people were complaining of no hand sanitizer in bathroom. I wouldn't know. I saw bathroom thru open door and thought no way. This is not a company you want to deal with. There are other travel agencies and tours that will treat you much better. The photo below shows how cramped it would be for two people and also shows no holders or place to have items so you can get to them quickly.
MoreI have been on multiple tours with this company and they are so much fun. They are well planned and always a great value. Saw this when I was getting ready to book my next one.
MoreThe whole tour and the bus ride were very enjoyable and informative. Sean our tour guide provided extensive information about the sites. What's nice about the tour is that you can get off at certain stops enjoy that site and catch another bus on a schedule. We never stepped off the bus but next time we will.
MoreWonderful tour of three Frank Lloyd Wright homes in the Pittsburgh area: Duncan House, Fallingwater, and Kentuck Knob. We flew from NYC to Pittsburgh just for the tour and were not disappointed. Our tour guide Joyce was very caring and sweet. She introduced everyone as we boarded the bus, provided a great deal of helpful background information as we approached each location and even handed out candy when we hit a bit of traffic on the way to Fallingwater. She also provided two interesting videos for us to watch: one about Fallingwater and the other about Biltmore, in Asheville, NC. We ended the day with a lovely Nat King Cole CD, again, courtesy of Joyce. Our driver Gary was wonderful, driving very carefully and dropping us off a few blocks closer to our hotel because it was on the way.Lunch was planned ahead of time at the lovely Treetops restaurant by Duncan House. Highly recommend this company for the Wright Tour, hoping they do more (Buffalo?) in the future!
