Drove here from San Antonio Nice little town Lots of Nice restaurants and shops - shops close for lunch take care of timing of your visit. Also hoped to visit some landmarks close by but pool had to be pre booked - something else to be mindful of.Great place for photos People were friendly

We came here just to look for boots!! All over this quaint city are these high painted boots!! If you go to visitor center you will find a map with all boots mark on it!! Many boots you can park in one location and then see/hunt several. Others you must drive to find them. We had a great day and after we found about 1/2 the boots we did a little window shopping which was super fun. I would suggest you visit this little Texas town for some fun boot fun!! Art Rocks!

While driving and walking around Wimberley, you will see various painted boots about 7-8 ft. tall. All are decorated with a different motif and worth taking a look.

Arrived early afternoon for a wander of Wimberley what a lovely place to explore. The boots are excellent highly recommend a few hours visit.

Just spent the afternoon walking around this quaint little town seeing all the amazing colourfully decorated boots that are made of fiberglass and stand 4 feet in height. This was an amazing idea to decorate the town and invite tourism . Started in 2013 Boots can now be found all around town I was told there are 50 now in total and each one induvial painted. Some depict the business it is in front of others are of Texas country side. Of course walking around looking for boots draws you into the numous little tourist shops, boutiques, souvenir places and bussiness. Great idea Wimberly have a bootifullday
