We had a path to walk. It was really long. The waters were dark. There was a shelter. They had some info, like the Mystery of Flathead Lakes Steamboats. I liked two things the most; The lake and the mountains. Wow! It is splendid! This is great for fishing! Worthwhile to see!

My husband, a friend and I spent about 30 minutes in Salish Point Park. There is a really nice wide clean fishing pier in the park. The water in Flathead Lake is very clear. We did not see any fish in the water but one person did catch a fish. The beach is made of small colorful rocks. There was a marked off swimming area as well. There is no entrance fee. The park is located next to SacaJawea Park.

This lakeside park has docks and great views of Flathead. We stopped here while heading down to Missoula and enjoyed picnicking and being near the water.
