Tour was ok. Was hoping for more detailed information on the history of the building. The way the basement is set up for the ghost story is tacky and a bit much. It takes away from what happened there. Ghosts are probably offended.

I had a great time it was really spooky and awesome and when I was in the basement I took a picture and in the background up in the ceiling you can see head upside down looking at me

If you're a paranormal enthusiast like I am, I highly recommend checking out the tours offered at the Farnsworth House. They absolutely deliver. For a little background about me, I'm a spiritual energy worker and crystal healer who has been drawn to the unseen world for as long as I can remember. I'm highly intuitive and very sensitive to energy, and I work with crystals, EFT, Body Code, and intuitive guidance to help people feel lighter, more centered, and balanced. That same sensitivity is a huge part of why I love the paranormal. I experience spirits and energy through what I see, hear, and feel, and I've developed a deep curiosity about places where history and the spiritual world seem to intersect. While my focus and passion is primarily on healing and energy work, I absolutely love exploring haunted locations and learning about the stories and experiences connected to them. And let me tell you.. these tours did not disappoint! My first recommendation is Historic Farnsworth House Tour with Patricia Quick.Patricia Quick is the lead Paranormal investigator, and she is fantastic at what she does. She is incredibly knowledgeable, lively, engaging, and quite frankly, just plain fun! She has a wonderful way of bringing both the history and Paranormal aspects of the location to life. The tour last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and admission was $16.14.For that price, I thought it was very reasonable and absolutely worth the experience. You get a wonderful combination of history, storytelling, and Paranormal exploration. The Mini Paranormal night was another experience I really enjoyed. This one lasted approximately 2 hours, with admission costing $64.56. I'll admit, the price was a little steep for me. But despite that, I felt the experience delivered. The hotel has a strong reputation for being haunted, and getting the opportunity to explore it from a paranormal investigation perspective was fascinating. If you're someone who really enjoys the investigation side of the paranormal, this is definitely an experience worth considering. The Haunted Cellar Tour lasted approximately 1 hour, with admission costing $19.37. This particular experience simply wasn't my personal favorite. I didn't feel quite as impressed by it as I was by some of the other experiences, and personally, I didn't feel the admission price matched what I experienced. That being said, paranormal experiences are incredibly personal. What resonates strongly with one person may not necessarily resonate the same way with another, and that's part of the fun of exploring the paranormal! For the same admission price of $19.37, I personally enjoyed Shadow Shooters and Phantom Regimens more. This experience lasted approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, giving you more time to explore and take in the experience. For me, it was a more engaging experience overall, and I found myself enjoying the history and paranormal elements woven together. Overall, I had a beautiful and memorable paranormal experience at the Farnsworth house. What I especially appreciated was the way the historical and paranormal aspects were woven together. You aren't simply hearing spooky stories. You're also learning about the history of these locations and the people and events connected to them, and for a paranormal enthusiast like myself, that's where the magic happens. So if you're fascinated by history, haunted locations, paranormal investigation or simply enjoy stepping outside the ordinary for a few hours, I highly recommend checking out the experiences offered at Farnsworth House. Just remember to bring an open mind, a curious spirit, and maybe a flashlight. You never know who or what might decide to join you. Happy haunting everyone.
