tripadvisorIf I could write it a zero I would. Horrible policies at the front door; no lady was allowed in entry with her pocketbook. It had to be a clear plastic bag, but they were selling those! Then when we get inside, after going back to our car and taking my purse, one cocktail was $16! Ridiculous.
MoreWhat a great venue for a concert! The theater is small (about 1900 people), decent sound, this was my first visit here and I am going to start watching for other shows.
MoreMobile’s Saenger Theatre truly captures a charming, old-world elegance that enhances the overall experience. The intimate size of the theater means that every seat offers a great view, even from the first balcony, where I had the pleasure of sitting. The venue is well-maintained, with spotless restrooms and a friendly, accommodating staff that adds to the welcoming atmosphere. If you're visiting from out of town, you'll find plenty of hotels and restaurants just a short walk away. It's a great place to come for a show and extend your stay for the weekend!
MoreWe attend various shows at the Saenger Theatre, and it's a fantastic venue with good views from every seat we've tried. Our only issue is the sound quality: it's great for symphony performances but not as good for other musical shows and performances, even though the artists make them very exciting. For some shows, the sound seems low quality and screechy. I also appreciate that we can buy tickets at the box office to avoid the high Ticketmaster fees, and the ticket clerk has always been very helpful.
MoreWe attended the Mobile Symphony at the Saenger Theater. Excellent acoustics and lines of sight from almost everywhere. Our big complaint is the lack of an elevator. The least expensive seats are therefore not accessible if you have mobility issues.
