The Veterans Memorial is small but tastefully down. It is located on 1/2 acre on a site that is basically a extra wide median with a one-way Street and curb parking on each side.The water feature and the large granite with a cut out in the middle that looks like a soldier are most impressive. A very nice touch. Because of its small size I would not expect it to be a destination trip, but if you are in the area a stop would be well worthwhile.

The place looks great and they are still nicely welcoming . The location of its establishment is friendly.

I was moved by the wonderful program and going back in time remembering my fellow Marines with whom I served in combat. I was honored and was able to honor my comrades in arms.

We visited the park to see the wall of Collin County Veterans. They did an outstanding job on the wall and the park. We can thank the the VFW post in McKinney for such a beautiful park and for building the wall in honor of our veterans. God Bless you.

The Veterans Memorial Park has a wall listing the names of all of the Collin County Veterans from all of the wars. The Ceremony was on Saturday May 26th at 10AM. The Park also has a Gold Star Memorial. Events are also held on Veterans Day in November.
