We returned to purchase some books at the delightful Linden Tree Books in downtown Los Altos. They have good service. They have a great children's section and also stuffed animals; as well as a good adult selection of books.

Linden Tree is a staple of the Los Altos downtown scene, and is a very nice, clean, and professionally run bookstore. In this day and age, it is likely to go out of business soon, as Amazon has completely taken over bookselling, which is unfortunate. Enjoy this place while you can, bring your kids, or just hangout on the benches out front.

The people there are very knowledgeable about recommendations of books. They offer a variety of children's book and the way they organize it is very nice. Parking may be difficult sometimes but they have it behind the store.

Love this bookstore. They have a great children's, young reader, young adult selection. Some toys and adult books. About 1/3 the adult books as kids. But often a smaller adult section makes for a better selection because they have to be so selective. Staff are very kind and know their books. Chairs to sit at outside. Love it.

We have seen the Linden Tree Books Store on previous visits to Los Altos but this time we visited. Lovely store with lots of books that our 4 year old granddaughter was eager to try to read. It was a pleasant experience!
