Reviews
tripadvisorGreat spot close to harbour, beautiful high ceilings from the old office building conversion. Enjoy the menu at the on site restaurant.
MoreNBHH is nicely situated, has an effective front desk, a convenient Starbucks just off the lobby. A lot to like. The room, No. 303, was good-sized, and, important to us, the shower was walk-in, with zero barrier between bathroom and shower floors. Problem occurred shortly after showering, and just about drifting off to a peaceful night's sleep after a long day of travelling: the fire alarm went off. Upsetting, as you can imagine. Horns blaring, small crowd outside our room, I made my to the hotel lobby. The clerk was understanding. Oh you must be in 303. Happens all the time after a guest uses the shower. Huh? After some delay, the clerk used the control panel to acknowledge the alarm, silencing it.Note to management: this false fire alarm after shower issue is unacceptable, and severely degrades the guest experience. Fix it. The next occurrence may be a wheelchair-bound guest, panicked and injured in a rush to escape the (nonexistent) flames. A bonus, the automatic sprinkler system did not activate.
MoreThe New Bedford Harbor was such an excellent place to stay. Perfectly located right in New Bedford and the staff was phenomenal. Would certainly stay again.
MoreNicely renovated old hotel. Large room nice linens and friendly staff. Starbucks coffee in the lobby. Bathroom small but modern. Only quibble is that free parking is off site.
MoreIt is a lovely updated historic boutique hotel right downtown ideally located to explore New Bedford and to travel to Cape Cod or Newport. The in-house small restaurant for breakfast or dinner and bsmt exercise room were helpful amenities. All staff were courteous and helpful. We had a top floor (5th) room wh which gave a nice view of the harbor.
