Make it springfield is an awesome community environment and super family friendly. Great likeminded individuals !!

When I moved to Springfield in August, I found this little gem right next to my apartment. My family and I needed a place to practice our art and meet like-minded people. Make-It-Springfield had everything we needed in one location. My children [talked] bikes on Monday. We meditated on Wednesdays and painted on Thursdays. It was a great introduction to the city and the arts community!

This place is great! Stop in to say hi, to shop for locally-made gifts, or to make something. Their website lists all the workshops going on but there is often someone there painting, working, or running a workshop. Everyone is welcome. Low- or no- cost activities for all ages. Hot Oven Cookie shop around the corner, Art e Pizza down the street, Art for the Soul Gallery a block away.
