Our Alameda site (formerly Califonia Rider Education(CaRE)) is the closest site to the Oakland/Berkeley area to provide the waiver for the riding portion of the DMV's motorcycle licensing test. All of our classes in Alameda provide the DMV waiver to graduates, are for beginners, and finish within one week. They all consist of one Thursday evening classroom session, a riding session in the morning or the afternoon on Saturday, a second classroom on Saturday evening and then riding again Sunday morning or afternoon. Motorcycles and helmets are provided in all of these classes. Some insurance companies and motorcycle shops offer discounts to our graduates.
