Reviews
tripadvisorWe booked a show with local talents. The booking process was simple and quick online. The atmosphere at the bar was lively before the show, with most comedians chatting with the attendees. The show was fast paced and I liked almost all comedians. A nice experience while being in New York as a tourist.
MoreBloody miserable. After showing up for a 18:00 performance, where there were 6 people, we got invited back for the 8pm performance. The first comedian couldn’t take criticism, the second just made ‘jokes’ about rape to the point where one person had to leave. Highly uncomfortable and not a good experience at all.
MoreBasically a scam! I bought tickets online only to arrive and be rudely told the show had been cancelled (hadn't been informed prior to arriving). I emailed trying to get a refund and after a couple of emails back and forth was ghosted. From other reviews it seems this is not uncommon. Rude people and badly organized - definitely avoid!
MoreWe enjoyed the club and the bartender & host were fun. We were in town for a short weekend and wanted to hit a comedy club. Janeane Garofalo was the headliner so we took the plunge and grabbed a cab to Brooklyn. The host and other comics were funny and made the night enjoyable. Jeaneane was bizarre. No real jokes and just rambling on spilling out random thoughts. We were soooooo disappointed. Time for a new headliner.
MoreWe were inspired by the idea there were multiple comedians AND Janeane Garofalo. The only problem is that the few comedians who showed up barely had material and Janeane appeared as if she just came off a bender to perform. She had no real material… just thoughts to share. We’ve gone to many comedy shows over the years and easily could have skipped this one. The staff was great but the rest was barely worth taking the subway to see.
