This motel has seen better days. It is clean and quiet. The beds were fine. The drapes were a bit torn (used a clip to keep them closed). Oddly enough there was a very old kitchenette in our room. We didn't use it but some of it appears to be functional. There's a small refrigerator with a freezer - I think it's 3 cu. ft. which is larger than a standard dorm refrigerator. It's walking distance to Page Mill Rd where you can board a bus to take you to the Stanford Stadium /Town and Country area. The bus stops nearer are closed due to construction.

We went here as the VA hospital recommended it. We are so glad we did Neil was so nice and friendly. He gave us restaurant recommendations. The room was very clean and very comfortable. It was quiet. We were there as a family member was in the VA hospital. So the friendly atmosphere and quiet night was much needed after a stressful day. We will be returning in less than a week for the family members surgery and when I called to make the reservation, Neil had told Ashley about us and it was like chatting with a friend.

This is a fine place to stay for a multi-night stay. Our room was clean and had been updated compared with the online photos. The staff was friendly. Parking was good in the interior courtyard. Bed was comfortable except the maid didn't put the bottom sheet on correctly... so check on that. There was no closet but there was a partially usable rod for hanging clothes. The TV was fine. Breakfast was to go but the variety was good. There's an enclosed outdoor area for eating. The location is very convenient.

Many thanks to Neal for his wonderful and intergenic welcome. This hotel serves many Stanford patients who travel long distances for the best medical available. Rooms are updated with modern features. Their display of beautiful succulents around the driveway and pool is a sight to behold. For best rates call office direct.

I was here for Standford Medical Center appointments. While I am not a hotel snob, the Standford Motor Inn has become more of a step or two above a homeless shelter. I think the pictures are a few (pre covid) years old. If we could have canceled once we arrived we would have. We had mistaken this hotel for another one we had stayed at. My bad. So we honored our commitment. This place is on my Stanford Black List. I have no idea how this place has an 8 score on tripadvisor!
