tripadvisorSufficient. Nice desk person. No Water in the room which is major no no. Room had fragrance that is totally not necessary and not healthy to be breathing in. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nice pillows.
MoreThis hotel is situated in a few low buildings, tastefully blending into the surroundings. Each building has an elevator to an exterior walkway to the room, which was comfortable, nicely decorated, clean, and in good condition. There's no desk in the room, but a round table in the corner was sufficient. Each room has its own balcony. My favorite part was the convenient deli on the property and their outstanding array of delicious sandwiches!
MoreConvenient location for Stanford events. Friendly staff. Quiet. Calm surroundings. Deli with coffee and a wide variety of excellent sandwiches on same premises. Only downside was no elevator to second floor.
MoreI recently booked a stay at the Creekside Inn Palo Alto for staff, event speakers, and Board members of my small nonprofit. The staff at Creekside Inn--particularly Toya, Vernadette, Aris, and their teams--were very responsive and helpful in scheduling our stay. Our booking was very complicated and continually fluctuating, and they were extremely accommodating in adjusting our booking for us.Check in was smooth and there was even a sign with our organization's logo welcoming us to the hotel. Every single one of the front desk staff, especially Aris, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to meet our needs (helping to use the printer, providing local recommendations, early/late check ins/check outs, etc.). They were extremely polite and friendly, and even remembered and used our names during our stay, despite being fully booked and extremely busy.Everyone was impressed with the rooms, which were all very nice and comfortable. (Moreover, they were fairly and reasonably priced and nicer than a small nonprofit could generally expect to afford in a pricey area like Palo Alto.) My room was very clean and I received no complaints from any members of the party whatsoever. My coworkers enjoyed getting sandwiches from the on-site deli and working outside at nearby seating area. The Wifi worked seamlessly and extended into the deli area so that my team wasn't confined to working from inside their rooms or in the hotel lobby. The gym was nice and empty. I only got to go once, but when I did go, I had the room all to myself. (There were many options for machines, so it would have been fine if others had been there, too.)For anyone who has an event in or around Palo Alto and needs to make a personal or even large-group booking, I would definitely recommend Creekside Inn Palo Alto. The hotel and amenities were great, but the real highlight was the staff: some of the most professional, accommodating, conscientious hotel staff I have ever encountered.
MoreA nice hotel convenient to the Stanford campus. Rooms are large and well-equipped. They have a small pool, and coffee all day, but no breakfast is available.
