wanted to learn something of the town's history so I ventured into the 'wrong door' and it is an art gallery with a book store connected. I wandered through the varieties of art, mostly paintings but a few wood art pieces. The owner told me all were local artists but other than some rural pictures there were no paintings of local features which is sad because there is history in Winnsboro Tx! I did buy a book of Winnsboro's history and there were many more about small towns and Dallas by the same publisher! I am interested in the history of places I live and I've lived in over a half dozen states and many times that cities!

Was pleasantly surprised to find such a well appointed art gallery in a small town. There is quality art to appeal to nearly everyone's taste. This is a must see!
