MorePEOPLE -- STAY AWAY from Barnes and Noble Bookstore in Bellevue Square Mall!!!There's an Asian lady (maybe the manager??) who was so RUDE and OBNOXIOUS!!! I was looking at their tote bags, and she immediately told me that I was not allowed to be where the bags were. When I touched one of the bags on display, she rudely said - DO NOT TOUCH OUR DISPLAY! in front of other customers!! She treated me like I was a shoplifter!!! Lady, I'm from Dallas- we have bigger B and N bookstores here with the friendliest associates, unlike you!To this Asian lady/manager: YOU. ARE. SO. RUDE!!! I have never, ever encountered any store associates as RUDE AS YOU! I hope Barnes and Noble Bookstore company read this review.
MoreHubby and i went here on a weekend. DO NOT GO ON A WEEKEND. it was so so crowded. too many people. nice place and cute lunar new year decorations but too much stimulation. they have limited food options. lots of parking. but stressful.
MoreShopping is expensive and food options are limited and expensive. Lots of clothing store options in one place which is what we wanted. Holiday decorations were cool.
MoreI think Bellevue Square used to be better before, but indoor malls in general seem to be falling out of favor in the US, especially considering how many stores sell low quality merch now. I used to love this mall and would spend hours here, but now I can’t wait to leave when we visit. This mall has a sky glass view that unfortunately turns the mall into a greenhouse (especially the Apple store) during hot summer days (not sure if they have AC, but if they do, you can barely feel it).The good thing is it’s clean, staff is mostly friendly, and there’s a variety of the usual mall stores. I wouldn’t call this place luxury or high-end - it’s pretty basic. Maybe it’s good for burning a couple hours but you won’t find anything unique or exciting here, and a few stores are permanently closing. There’s very few food options and barely any seating. They have a large parking structure, and it gets pretty crowded during the holidays.
